First Nine Week Project 1
Title: The use of the Paint Bucket tool in order to represent Society |
In this project, I first got a picture of Napoleon. Then I used the magic erase tool on everything around him, and then defined him as a brush preset. Then I opened up another project, made a blue background, and used the elliptical marquee tool to create a circle in the middle. Then I used the smudge tool to make the circle look like it had stuff coming off of it. Then I got a picture of the U.S.S enterprise, and then I put a clipping mask on it so that it would look like the U.S.S enterprise was in the circle. Then I used the text tool to make the "conquest", and then I bevel and embossed that and also stroked it. Then I got a picture of roses, and used a clipping mask on that so that it would look like the roses were behind the text. Then made four layers, and in the first layer I made a small Napoleon in the middle, then I made a bigger one, and then a bigger one, and then a bigger one. Then I got a picture of a chicken, used the magic erase tool on everything around it, and then defined it as a brush preset. Then I created a timeline, converted it to a frame animation, and made four panels. I then kept everything the same about each panel, except that each one had a different sized Napoleon, going from smallest to biggest. Then I went back to each panel, and put a chicken in different corners. Then I tweened it, so that it would look like the Napoleon was moving. Voila. P.S: I didn't actually use the paint bucket tool

First Nine Week Project 2
Title: Subliminal Messaging doesn't Work and This is secretly a Mountain Dew Ad by Panic! At the Disco |
In this project, I got a picture of a party, and opened it up in photoshop. Then I opened up a picture of mountain dew, used the magic erase tool on everything around it, and then used the rectangle marquee tool to copy and paste the mountain dew onto the party. Then I copied the mountain dew five times. Then I made three more layers, made them all red, and then applied a different gradient to each of them. Then I lowered the opacity of the gradients, so that you could see the party and the mountain dew behind them. Then I used the text tool to type "party hardy", and copied it five times. Then I made a timeline, converted it to a frame animation, and made five frames. Then, for the first frame, I hid all but one of the gradients, and then put the mountain dew in a position, along with the text, which I applied a bevel and emboss and an inner glow onto. For the next four frames, I would alternate with the five mountain dew layers I made. I first made the mountain dew go above the gradient, then I made it go back down as it went in a clockwise-type circle. Also, I alternate gradients among the three I made, sometimes combining two of them in a frame. Then, by alternating among the five texts I made, I made it go counterclockwise semi-opposite of the mountain dew, changing the amount of bevel and emboss on it with each slide. On the last slide, though, I put it above the gradient, and then I got a picture of Hatsune Miku and put a clipping mask on it so that it would appear behind the text. Then, I tweened the slides, so it would look like the bottle and the text were flying around. Then I made another slide, hid everything but the party, got a picture of myself, selected myself with the pen tool, and then copy and pasted it onto the party, and then used the text tool to type "Hail." Then I went home and slept. GG. No Re.
